There are no short cuts….
Let’s address Facebook fan pages….In this world of numbers, there are many who are impressed by number of fans a Facebook page has, and I understand the motivation to want to appear more popular, but at the end of the day, fake followers will never buy any product or service you have.
…. And if you do become more popular over time, the fake followers will water down your ability to use the promotional tools available to reach those connected to your network. You know those “Sponsored” ads you see, they are targeted ads… the best targeted ads are often fans and friends of fans, but if the fans are fake, then you can’t use these tools to get more reach on anything you are trying to promote.
